In 2022, after needing to reschedule for 2 years, a small team from Park went to Huntington, WV to work with the Rebuild Ministry there as they seek to serve the homeless and hungry. The experience last year was very good, and the team leaders felt called to return in 2023 to assist further with more knowledge of the overall mission and dedication of the team in Huntington. The trip is scheduled for July 29-August 4. The trip plan is to assist Rebuild Ministry there as they rehabilitate multiple older buildings that house their ongoing programs. Our work will be varied with experienced trip leaders to help plan and direct it. We will be housed nearby with good facilities and food/meal plan. We will be sharing more info about Rebuild through the winter/spring as we finalize our work team.
